OPsynergy - access to all screencast content

My Sony tv not connected with oppo a77s

Opsynergy is controling also the data if you want to use screen mirror in Onplus (8T).
Everytime, I try to run screen mirroring it asks me for permission to access my call logs, my phone, my contacts, location, (probably they honna add access to my ass* also).
So, I disabled the app. Surprisingly, the mirror casting tile doesn’t show anymore and I don’t have access to this function anymore.
Any suggestions?

And lately there’s been another suspicious thing popping up called ‘Metis’ which like all other absolutely non-beneficial, data-stealing, "we’re insisting on sitting on your computer, phone, ass crevices and recording everything you’re doing, for"your "benefit, helpful bullshit cookie, METIS asks through repeated, persistent pop ups to “agree”
Even this whole, we need your location to project to your tv nonsense. Why, because unbeknownst to me, my phone needs to automatically know where I am to start casting without any intervention from me?! What a crock of shit Oppo is, and consequently, One Plus as well

Probably the app behind managing screen mirroring

I am having the same issue/concern looking out for an alternative

Yes I have your solution.
Go to phone reset and select reset all settings not reset phone just reset all settings. This will undo what ever it was that you touched. Be careful what settings you touch from now on

Yes, it just seems a little dubious how it’s written. Anyway with this default screencaster from the phone, I get quite a bit of stuttering but after some time of viewing. It says the Oppo phone has a loss of image quality due to an unstable connection from the phone (not verbatim but something along those lines). This usually happens about 15 mins - half hour after screen casting well without delay/pixelated imagery

Anyone know an alternative way of screen casting longer form content in a stable manner?

If you could cast to a screen while using a online VPN service, it’s not doing its job right.
A VPN is supposed to block external LAN traffic between your device and your router.

Although, I do understand how you’d want to use both at the same time in certain cases.

I could finally connect to my (Roku) TV after disconnecting the TV to the WiFi. I know it’s counterintuitive, but it did work. Once the TV has no internet connection, it finally appeared on the devices list on my phone.
