I’m in highschool and I’ve noticed Opera GX can stop teachers from blocking websites. They use the app securely classroom and can watch what I do,but can’t control my computer,lock it,or block websites (Allegedly.) I’ve gone on reddit and they say on most computers,it’s blocked,but they can’t do that on opera. So,can Opera stop teachers from blocking some websites like reddit,character ai,and websites like that,or can the school block opera all together? If not,what can I do to stop this?

Maybe the app simply doesn’t support Opera and, therefore, doesn’t work with it.
If sites are blocked by your school’s WiFi then potentially using the built in VPN might unblock them (but it’s slow, I’d recommend installing a different VPN), but just using Opera alone won’t unblock anything. But if this is a school-owned laptop and they’re blocking content via software they’ve installed on it, that might not work. If it is a school-owned laptop, I’d suggest being careful, if they’ve got software installed that records what you do I wouldn’t try and bypass their restrictions unless you’re prepared to get in trouble for potentially breaking IT rules.
