Recently started getting warnings from Norton 360 that my Wi-Fi network is compromised; turn ON VPN. Also, Smart Scan says the open port on this device is accessible from the internet. I changed the router admin login password and the Wi-Fi login password just to be on safer side. Subsequent scans show the network is secure. is there anything else i should do to figure out anything wrong with my wifi router/network or my laptop. Thanks for your time
Your only problem is Norton.
Remove it and use Windows defender paired with a ad blocker.
These messages are scam.
Uninstall Norton it is a piece of c**p, Windows Defender is much better.
i am using norton for 15+ years no issues. their recent product upgrade became very intrusive trying to sell/recommend their other pc cleanup and various products is very frustrating. thanks
All 3th party antivirus are pointless nowadays and are more adware than anything else.
The times for them are long gone.
Same thing happened to me today that brought me here. I’m getting frustrated with Norton been w them forever too. All the ads and scare tactics, I’m over it.
