Internet historian’s ads for nord are awesome, but nord sucks. So much misinformation in their ads it’s unbelievable. Don’t support nord, support a different VPN service that isn’t as scummy.
You can uninstall apps you don’t use anymore.
If a VPN:

Has suspiciously good deals

Has bullshit “exclusive” deals

Pressures you to buy yearly subscriptions

Spends millions on ads

Claims “online privacy”

Requires phone number, street address, etc.
Do not trust that VPN.
My rule is as soon as an app sends me any kind of marketing message through notifications, I turn their notifications off completely
