The app got updates just yesterday, and not seeing the profiles option anymore. It was quite useful to quickly switch to an intended server whenever required.
Also , could there be a way to just create a whitelist for split tunneling - wevpn had it I guess.
I agree with you. This is however discussed in a thread from yesterday:
The custom profiles were replaced with ‘Recents’ for an enhanced user experience. Recents allow the same functionality as profiles, the only difference being that you connect first and then pin the connection, rather than having to configure and save a profile before trying it out.
Your existing profiles aren’t lost by updating to the redesigned app. All existing profiles will appear as Pinned items in your Recents list. The only difference is that they won’t have a name, colour, or protocol attached anymore. It will use the same protocol that you have selected in Settings.

Not sure if anyone else has found this yet.
If you wanted to add a connection as an old “profile” (as a new pin), although you can’t change specific settings like before, you can still pin it.
1 - Make a connection you want to keep.
2 - Now swap away to another connection.
3 - The previous will now appear as a ‘Recent’.
4 - If you slide this ‘Recent’ connection to the right, it will remain as a pinned item.
the list of servers you’ve been connected to are visible at the bottom of home screen, you can pin them for quick access
It also removed Net shield configuration. Now it either on or off
Profiles was a great feature many of us liked.
So, you’d have to manually reconfigure a specific server every time you connect, if it’s different from your default in “Settings”?
Thanks for this explanation, been bugging me for months since the upgrade, had no idea how favorites worked now. So pinning replaces favorites.
Got it , didn’t find a way to pin them earlier- tried tapping on the pin icon but to no avail. Thanks for the shortcut!
Oh yes, I just noticed that! I was keeping it on block all by default, never used the first option.
I still don’t see a way to pin anything.
Disconnect from the server and swipe left on it in the recent list
That did it. Thanks. Now if we could only open specific servers e.g. a specific province or US state.
