Kia ora, hi! Sorry if this has been asked already but I’m trying to figure out what time season 2 comes out on NEON. It’s coming on the 6th rather than the 5th, which at first I thought meant it would drop at the same time but just accounting for timezone differences, but the US release time would still be 8pm on the 5th for NZ i think? So do any fellow kiwis know what time we should expect it? It doesn’t matter that much, but would be nice to know so I don’t spend my day checking every hour because I am oh so normal about this show lol
Has anybody tried to sign up to NEON via VPN from the UK?
I’ve heard that HBO Max now spots and blocks registration with payment from a UK postal address even if you sign up via an American server so there’s this whole faff about creating and using a new american apple ID to pay via itunes card or using a prepaid american card etc and I’ve seen no guarantee either works.
Is it still possible to sign up and pay for NEON from UK via an NZ VPN server and not get spotted because of where the payment is originating from?
I’d still like to support them all (cast and crew) by becoming a “oh, here’s a new subscriber on NEON/Max and they’ve joined because of OFMD” statistic, rather than pirating, if at all possible.
I think it’ll probably release at around 3pm. According to google, when the last of us came out it was released at 3.30 so wouldve thought it would be the same time
Welp, I’ve just answered my own question. Only seems to take visa or mastercard, and is refusing my card that usually works internationally.
With the scourge of capitalism rampant in the streaming industry and particularly obvious with the recent strikes, you’d think I could persuade someone to just take my bloody money in return for a product I want to consume, but here we are.
