Thanks I actually left out browser as one of my concerns. Firestick, to be fair, comes with pretty good Silk browser ie it is well integrated to work with firestick. What is the situation with google TV?
LocalSend is a godsend! Kudos to the creator 
UK TV apps not so much ie not in playstore as I understand it. Also I don’t believe they have produced a version of chrome browser which integrates seamlessly with google TV device in the way that silk browser integrates with firestick.
You can do it with x-plore.
An even better one is AtvTools. With that you can install apps directly from phone. Even silently batch install multiple apps. And you can also disable factory installed apps and more.
Well worth buying the premium.
