Hello, my school blocked GeForce now on the whole network. I have my own Chromebook so I know it’s the network. I tried a VPN too but it wouldn’t connect either. I’m assuming they blocked VPNs too. Is there any way to get around this?

GFN will perform terribly over VPN. Don’t bother. I sound like my dad when I say this, but while you’re at school, focus on school stuff and hanging out with real people. Save the gaming for after hours. Future you will thank you
Why would anyone help you use GFN at school? You’re not there to play games.
Wifi Hotspot from your phone. Used GFN with my hotspot before. A little lag but playable.
so many comments missing the point. i myself stay on campus and can’t game in my room without a workaround because schools mistakenly think that blocking all the ports improves security or helps learning.
you can either use a VPN with obfuscated/stealth servers (such as nord) or use mobile data, both of which are going to cause noticeable lag.
Are you staying at student dormitories? I’ve been at a similar situation there.
At the time, the only work around I had was to get a data plan on my phone and work from there when needed. GFN is a streaming service, so it will be heavy on the data plan, and might not be feasible.
This kind of block don’t have workarounds (at least that I know). They block GFNs IP and it will pass thought their filter. A VPN doesn’t work because this is a local block, every single request you make on their network pass trough their network manager which automatically blocks connection with the said IP. The only way to make it work would call an IT guy from your school and ask to remove it which is very unlikely to happen.
School is the best time to talk to girls and make friends, you’re in an environment where a huge number of people are forced to be vicinity of you lol. You’ll have the rest of your life to waste on games, make the most of your school time and meet people.

It’s unlikely anybody would be able to give you adequate advice without more information about the school network. You could try requesting an exception during recreational time periods but Don’t hold your breath.
Playing games on school computers is a bad idea since those computers are heavily monitored and credentials can be stolen. Some school computers take screenshots in real time when unauthorized activities are detected.
