The twist is, I don’t use Mullvad nor am I home at the time. How do I go about trying to figure out why this connection is being made and removing the cause?
My guess is that it’s an attempted pop up add from a mobile device that has a free game installed. I have a similar thing going on.
This is a domain (ipv4.am.i.mullvad.net) connected to Malwarebytes Service mbamservice.exe
Except it is specifically my desktop as the origin
so why is this appearing to be constantly blocked in my router? yes I use malwarebytes
Any BHOs or malware? Have you tried running things like malwarebytes, adaware, and CCleaner?
Did Malwaysbytes and CCleaner both, and both came up clean
I see the same thing. Have you figured this out?
Someone commented on the Malwarebytes forum that apparently it uses Mullvad for its privacy system. If you have Malwarebytes installed it would most likely be from that.
I do. So nothing to worry about. Thanks.
So this is mbytes safety net essentially?
