I have been using asrill for years. never had an issue. I use it android and windows, on apple products it seems buggy…
I use my own private VPN server. Every couple days I need to reset and change the hostname and IP address but other than that it works perfectly. I imagine this is the same problem most vpn servers in China face.
I used to use Astrill which also works well but websites such as google are always sending captchas, likely because Astrill is cycling IPs to get around the problem I stated in paragraph one.
Don’t know why no one is talking about panda vpn. It’s faster and consistent than any ast** or ex**. Ex** is the worst among the bunch. The downside is there’s no reliable customer care service and only 3 devices connectivity for the basic plan. I never turn it off, just keep it in smart mode. Shit it even has Chinese servers so you can browse China only websites from overseas.
I had big issues with Astrill in the beginning, but now it’s ok for the last 3 months. It seems astrill is idiotic when it comes to using more than 5 devices (not simultaneously)
I have used Express, also quite good, no major issues.
We have apple, Android and windows devices.
Windows = definitely astril the best
Android = astril and express the same
Apple = had better user experience on express because i could use wechat, alipay and other chinese apps without going into vpn and turning it off. astrill is much more strict and somehow it doesn’t work with it on. While express did.
Also astrill’ support is almost non-existent.
I use express VPN, never have any issue connecting, the speed can be slow sometimes, but is back to normal again when I switch the location

Tinder doesn’t need a vpn once you’ve downloaded it.
Astrill has always been good and reliable for me, and it’s actually become more reliable each year since buying it in 2015.
But their prices go up substantially every year. My current subscription is about 2.2x the original 2015 subscription, and this year alone it will go up another eye-watering $50 should I renew for another year.
Price hikes are inevitable and completely understandable. But Astrill raise their prices yearly far more severely than most other services, to the point where I think I’m going to bow out and try another service, as I no longer think the price matches the value.

You might want to look at your setup and improve it. I have been using the same servers for 3-4 years without them being blocked (so far)
I use that, it works really well on my computer, but not so good on my phone… and its cheeeap

They almost always have a Black Friday coupon offer (I think it was 20% off last year), so if you know you are definitely going to renew you can look out for that.
