07/19/21: MAJOR UPDATE: Luna Team has reverted a change that started causing “ALL” these issues. I’ve tested Snapchat and TikTok which are working now. Delete old profile, download new one from their website on Mobile Data then reboot device. Now you can connect to your WiFi. For Snapchat that’s how I installed for it to load Friends Location.

Snapchat broken functions due to blocked URLs (Viewing Friends Location, Sending Messages, Changing Bitmoji, Changing Outfit)
Youtube.com in Safari causes “our system have detected unusual traffic from your computer network” error when trying to Play a video
Pandora is showing 30/15 seconds video ads and 30 seconds audio ads recently
Don’t use Luna VPN. They sell your data. Every website you visit, youtube video you watch, tiktok you look at, Luna can see all of that. And they take that data, and sell it to other people.
There are alternatives to adblocking on iOS. viewtube.io is youtube without ads, but you cannot login. r/sideloaded has resources on how to install apps not available in the normal App Store on iOS, such as Cercube, a youtube app without ads. There are probably modified apps for tiktok and snapchat as well that have adblocking capabilities.
I was using it for like 2 years now, should i be worried? Like they sell the data but there is any actual danger such as address leak or credit card information etc?
So, are you working on it? YouTube just casually shows ads like Luna isn’t even on - I make a topic myself.
The only ads being blocked on my phone is Twitch but I want YouTube to be ad free

My xs max, luna stopped working on YouTube app 2 days ago. My other 11 pro has 256gb and youtube app stay in memory always, it’s working there. If I clean memory youtube ads will appear.
You are literally owned by an ad company. Don’t give me that bullshit. Unless you can prove that you don’t sell data, there is no other explanation as to how you are offering such a service for free.
Besides, Cercube is still a better way to block ads on youtube because of the sponsorblock integration.
It’s highly likely that if you gave luna vpn that data, they collected it, but didn’t sell it.
I’d be more worried about the sites you visit and what apps you use, use time, what profiles you visit, etc being sold. They cannot collect sensitive data like passwords from the sites, though.
However, it should be noted that giving credit card and address, and other sensitive data to companies comes with it’s own risk. Although companies won’t give out/sell that data to legal reasons, sometimes companies get hacked, and leaked. Every extra company with information it shouldn’t have on you puts you at more risk.
