So, from an insider perspective as someone who used to use injectors to really go wild in other games, this is 100% possible.
I used to have differing levels that I could do this to someone as well, and the worst level made their entire pc just shit the bed and crash.
I could change my name and IP display even.
I didn’t do this in competitive games, ironically, and last had my foray with RDO.
That’s when I learned that rockstar admins have a pink name with a custom rockstar logo by their names, cause I sure had then tryin to catch me, only to also be crashed xD
If these modern injector users are that protected, then that would explain how they are bypassing anti-virus as well as being unreportable.
The player you saw could very well have spawned on that costume by command and could be using a masked name and ip, and the moment they feel like they’ve been caught, they can crash your game and then switch names and faces >.>
This is a reason why we all need to just take a break from COD. You want them to fix the stuff they broke, stop giving them money.

If sbmm worked somewhat correctly I wouldn’t even have to worry about these cheaters in my lobbies but I still run into them in 3/5 games
I couldn’t care less what rank I am…enjoyment isn’t dependent on getting wins for me, having a k/d of just over 1.0 means I’m having fun because it’s not too easy and not too challenging. I don’t want 2+ k/d anymore then I want a .20 k/d. I honestly don’t get how hackers find enjoyment in this.
There has to be people on the inside keeping this from being fixed, it shouldn’t be hard to do.

This game is straight trash. Finally uninstalled today after getting put in so many lobby’s with cheaters. Nothing ever changes with these guys and I’m so glad I didn’t spend a penny on it.
He hit the lag-switch. Back in bo1 days, this was the only hack that we had to worry about besides blatant rage aimbot. The funny part: most of the time, it was a server issue and not actually anyone lag-switching.

Dude what makes u think cheaters have the ability to hack into the server and make your screen do something like this? Game is just bugged, its just a coincidence, if you didn’t kill the cheater it would have happened anyway.
Had this exact thing happen to me in solos, fried the lobby so hard some guy crashed my game and kicked me all the way out, crazy
