I can’t even imagine buying additional content on something you already pay for…
It’s to keep you from abusing the system by using one license and just changing it everytime you use a different device.
Unlike your other comment, I would understand this not being a thing for a free vpn because it’s free, just download it on every device what do they care ITS FREE? but paid its understandable
Think of it this way: You buy a drink at a gas station (OG liscense), you can get a free refill once every week (liscense transfer), any other refills outside of that cost money but are cheaper (paying for extra devices).
If drinks were free, just get a new cup everytime.
If refills were always free, why would you ever need to buy a new cup? They’d never make any money to pay for overhead (servers), much less to buy more soda for you to drink (expand servers)
I have lifetime plan and I no have problems with that. My phone, my second phone, my tablet, my pc. That’s it

But let’s say you use it on your phone, then you switch to your laptop, then to your tablet, then your desktop, plus your work computer, with your phone in between everyday. How do they also know you’re not license sharing?
The license is really only for one device, they allow you to change it so if you get a new phone or computer you can forward it over. So once a week is actually pretty generous.
Most other programs like windows or photoshop only allow a one time transfer, if the even allow it at all

The license is actually for 5 devices. They do this so you are obligated to get the upgrades. Let’s say you already have 5 devices logged in and you upgrade 3 of them for any reason. You will have to wait 2 weeks to be able to use those 3 again.
