Japan VPN servers slow and Netflix identified/blocked

More recently, has anyone noticed that none of the Japan VPN servers work with Netflix? Also, is anyone experiencing especially slow throughput while connected to them?

Same, I was midway through an episode on Netflix JP when the VPN detected message popped up. This happened about 2 days ago and I have yet to try it again so I don’t know if it works now. Before that, the show I was watching appeared to be streaming in 480p at most so I assume the servers have been slow too.

As an aside, I originally subscribed to Windscribe to watch Hulu JP but it looks like none of the VPNs actually work with Hulu JP, not even ExpressVPN (currently using their 7-day trial). Bummer.

Yeah, I had the same problem with other sites.

I’ve had issues vice versa, I live in Japan and watch US Netflix sometimes. I just switch servers. Usually fixes it. I know Japan only has like 3 though, so that could be a problem.

Did you submit a support ticket about this issue? If not, may you do so and PM the ticket number?

This is already a widespread issue with more than one user reporting it. Why are you wasting people’s time asking for submitted ticket ID’s instead of looking into it and fixing it?? Currently only iOS is dead with Netflix JPN. Android still works. But I won’t be surprised if one day it completely stops working on all platforms.

So to the windscibe doktor please actually get back to the windscribe tech support and tell them to fix it
