Is it worth it to have Bitdefender Total Security when you have NordVPN?

The title says it all, is it worth paying for both services?
I am in no way knowledgeable in this domaine but I feel like they overlapp alot, I just had my bitdefender subscription renewed but I am honestly considering canceling cause I am wondering is it worth it or am i paying for 2 services that will do basically similar things?

My nord vpn subscription isnt due for another 2 years, while I could really go without spending 100$ for another subscription of 12 month.

So is having Bitdefender Total Security worth it if you have nordvpn?

Thanks

Edit before more continue to state how obvious my question is , i am asking cause many of nord vpn’s features seems to do similar thing as an antivirus.
The scan of pages etc

How does a VPN do nearly the same as an anti virus?
It is far from doing the same.

One can hide your ip and in some cases implement adblocking and scam sites, while the other protects your PC from the files you execute.

answer me this, is it worth to have a apple when you have condoms?

vpn and antivirus is totally different thing. you don’t need a vpn unless you watch foreign content on Netflix or crunchyroll, or you do torrenting. a vpn won’t protect you from viruses and malwares.

an antivirus is what protects you from malwares, you probably don’t need one if you’re a very casual user. but it’s always better to have something than nothing, just in case. you can renew your subscription or you can pay less and use their internet security which is cheaper, you don’t need total security. heck, even if you just use bitdefender free antivirus, it’s good enough for most casual users.

You need Bitdefender Premium if you want unlimited VPN and no pay for Nord as well. Total Security comes with 200MB of VPN per day.

The difference between Total and Internet security is really just the software updaters and PC cleaner. Plus Total is the only version that entitle you to use your devices licenses on any OS instead of Windows only.

You can stock up to 5 years of licenses for Bitdefender really cheap through Newegg or Amazon sales.

You are comparing an AV with a VPN, 2 pieces of completely different software, if you are not using public networks and don’t need to bypass Geographical restrictions just stay with Bitdefender, using a VPN will not protect you from Virus or any kind of Malware. Just encrypts your internet connection. Which is already done by default using HTTPS. TLDR and in other words you are just wasting your money paying for a VPN subscription, just stick with a good AV, cancel your VPN subscription and call it a day.

All those VPN ads are lies.

Reality is, you don’t need a VPN unless you’re doing something illegal (piracy), really want to be private, want to bypass region locks, or are on public WiFi often and care about security.

All it does is encrypt your connection and route it through a server someplace else.

Bitdefender is good for your protection against all Malicious things but nordvpn is just to encrypt your real up to a virtual one

most commercial vpsn wont protect you from illegal activity. As long as they dont have ram servers your internet activity is easily accessed by governments. Do you really think any vpn service is going to protect you?

No. Just have a permanent pot of steaming water on your stove and a turbine on top. Ez free electricity bill. You should also hire several servants to refill the pot.

Well, most are usually enough for piracy.

For actual illegal stuff you need Tor (preferred) or Mullvad.
