Is Coinbase restricted in Colombia 🇨🇴?

I have some bitcoins in my Coinbase account, I’m from Colombia :colombia: , my account is verified, however, I can’t sell, buy or withdraw crypto, when trying to withdraw I get a message that says:

Not allowed: Withdraws
Coinbase currently does not allow withdraws in your country. Subscribe to our blog…. Blablabla

Then a button that links to Coinbase blog is at the end :man_facepalming:t2:

I’ve been searching about Coinbase in Colombia and it seems it is allowed, but I want to double check, I can’t basically do anything with the Bitcoins I have in my account

Hi. But what about selling. Past year I got an email notification that after certain date I won’t be able to sell. And indeed, I got message in the app/website whenever I click the “sell” button I got the “you country does not support selling” message.

Same with buying.

Hello everyone, I could finally solve my issues, Coinbase is not restricted for withdrawals or sending bitcoins out of Coinbase. I had problems due to I was using a VPN, so my advise is to uninstall and reinstall Coinbase mobile app and disconnect from your VPN. Then login again and that solved the issue for me.

There’s no way to get support from Coinbase :smiling_face_with_tear: I just can’t do anything

I figured out that the issue was that I was using VPN I was using Brazil IP, to solve it just uninstalled the app and closed the VPN reinstalled and that’s it. The best thing you can do If you’re from Colombia is to just withdraw your crypto from Coinbase to other exchange, because some functions are limited
