That’s a fantastic price for all of Proton’s services. Their encrypted email I use for no cost is the best email service I’ve ever used. Excellent junk mail screening!
And yesterday, just got their free Drive, not as much storage as the paid version, yet can rest assured my content is safe in Switzerland, where they don’t participate with the “spying eyes” nations.

Mullvad is great for privacy since they don’t get any personal info (not even an email address and you can pay anonymously). But doesn’t really work well for streaming which is why I still use Nord. If ProtonVPN keeps improving in this regard (hope it does) I hope I don’t have to renew Nord.

If you mean that rate: I’ve been a subscriber for about 3 years and Proton offered to keep me on the rate I signed up on.
I got grandfathered for the full suite of items I don’t pay that much.

I don’t know or remember but I’ve paid the same since 2020. The prices I see now $119 for 12 months or $191 for 24 months are much higher. Maybe I got grandfathered in… My renewal is October still says $57 for 12 months. Either way I’m happy.
i see. typically when you download the app from the store, google already sort of knows, and when you connect, its also possible for them to know based on ip or asn.
