Interesting Opera GX VPN issue

Today I encountered a problem when the browser shows the error ERR_TUNNEL_CONNECTION_FAILED. It occurs only when you enable VPN in Opera GX. And the most interesting thing is that it happens only when you select as server Europe or America. If you select Asia, the page loads without any problems. I’ve already cleared cookies and reinstalled the browser, as well as entered these commands in Commad Prompt window:

  • ipconfig /flushdns
  • nbtstat –r netsh
  • int ip reset
  • netsh winsock reset

Nothing has helped at the moment. Yes, it is not that critical (web pages are loading fine without VPN), but yesterday it was fine. I am just curious what could cause the issue.

The problem seems to have solved itself. I selected Europe/America as the server again and the pages opened smoothly. Did nothing after the post. Opera just self-healed :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:
