The game keeps timing me out at the title screen. Is there anything I can do about this? I tried redownloading DMM and the game and still nothing. Is it the account or possibly the VPN I am using?
Afaik, you only ever needed the vpn during updates and launching the game the first time, the rest you can just launch without it. I vaguely remember doing that before I switched to mobile fully.
Update: I got it to work and install yay. Now I am running into the issue of the game timing out and being stuck at the title screen

You need vpn for dmm player, not the game. As soon as the game launches you can close the vpn. Not sure how people are able to play without vpn after installing as the game calls “home” to dmm when launching as drm check.
It depends on your IP/ISP. I live in California and my ISP is blocked so I have to use a vpn every time i open dmm or priconne, even on my phone.
Check that the ip or port the game is using is not blocked in your firewall or router. You might need to open something or set up port forwarding.

I honestly just did a free trial of a VPN and just cancelled after finishing setting up the game.
I use SoftEther VPN, which is free and open source. Pick SoftEther VPN Client on their download page.
Then pick server you want from VPN Gate. If it need login stuff, just put vpn as username, and vpn as password.

No, on mobile, just install Qooapp and install Priconne there.
Less hassle, but with a con that you cannot use the english translation exclusive to DMM.
I use Gaminik as my onscreen translation(cheap subscription and fairly accurate). Since I am relatively familiar with JP words and phrases(Thank god Priconne is fully voiced) I can get by just fine.
For PC I use Proton VPN & DMM player
Mobile (android) I use APKPure. Don’t need a VPN, but you can’t connect to the game if you are using wifi. No problems on mobile data.
JP app store is only really worth the hassle of setting up if you plan on spending money, but even then it’s easier to just use DMM
Yeah I was able to get the game to open but now I can’t play it. I am just stuck on the title screen has I always timeout
I found one called SoftEther VPN, that was recommended and it worked so I was able to download the game but now I can’t get past the title screen for some reason on DMM player. I also have a ID of 0 for some reason
