I got myself a Firestick for Christmas. I intend to sideload some apps for streaming. Is Mullvad the VPN for me?
I have Mullvad on Firestick. Was a tad complicated to sideload via Downloader, but didn’t take too long to figure out. You just need to download the Android APK from the Mullvad Github page.
You can get it from Mullvad, but will probably need an older version that will work with the version of Android running on the Firestick.
i’d just stick with getting a debrid account. It’s cheaper and easier. plus most apps will ask for that anyway. Then you won’t need to have a vpn.
If you plan on “loading” Mullvad directly on the Firestick-I would say no. If you are planning on loading onto your router, then probably yes. Unless there has been changes to “getting” Mullvad onto a firestick it was a pain in the a. There is not a direct android interface so you have to add a few other apps to get the VPN up in running.
