Hulu proxy error on my Pixel 5a

•Device: Google Pixel 5a 5g, ISP is Frontier

•Service: Hulu with ads

•Steps taken: location access granted while using the app (it’s either that, ask every time, or deny), I’ve cleared my cache, logged out and back in. Since it works on my other Android devices I don’t believe it’s an ISP issue. The Hulu app is up to date, as is my Android software

I bought a Google Pixel 5a last week, and I’m getting error code P-EDU101- “It looks like you’re using an anonymous proxy server or VPN. You’ll need to disable it to watch Hulu”

.

.

I live in the states, and my location is allowed, so Hulu should be able to see where I’m based.

This is only an issue on my 5a, my old pixel 4 works just fine (so it shouldn’t be an issue with my IP), it just has the battery life of a walnut.

Same problem , did you find a solution ?

I’m having the same problem since last night. Hulu support blamed my ISP. I called my ISP and they assured me they’ve changed nothing since yesterday, but have had an influx of calls from people trying to use Hulu having the same problem.

Edit: Never mind. Finally got through to an absolute Chad of an escalation tech at Hulu who was able to resolve the issue by whitelisting my public IP.
