Hi there, trying to get a subscription on f1 tv pro. I am in the Netherlands however a new subscription is just monthly and its very expensive. Trying to get the subscription through India. However when I use VPN through google play store or apple app store it still gives me the old price. Im using a paid VPN and cleared the cache of both apps. Does anyone know how I can fix it so that I have a cheap subscription before the Australian GP. Thanks!

You need your google/apple account to match up with the region you’re registering from to get the price benefits, otherwise you’re just connecting from a location, but get account region specific pricing - as many have abused the venue to reduce their subscription price.
Sometimes you need a phone number & payment method from said region to change the region - similarly for gift cards, as those are usually also valid in specific regions.

I just renewed my subscription today. I’m in Canada and it’s $100 annually.
VPN didn’t work for me either. I asked my friend to buy using a PC in India.
I’m going to be honest here. I wanted to watch F1 but also didn’t want to spend a lot of money on VPNs. That’s why I chose cheaper VPN options, like Private Internet Acces or even Surfshark. The thing is, no one worked to me as good as Nord VPN did (www.nordvpn.com).
Even though is 90% accurate, use it carefully. I suggest you to create a secondary account to test this VPN (in my case it worked). I don’t know what’s the deal with Nord, but it also allows me to use Netflix, Prime Video and Directv from other countries.
And here’s a bonus tip: If you subscribe from countries outside the US, the memberships are often cheaper than what you’d pay domestically. Use it as an advantage, don’t be lazy!

Most places that you register will ignore the logic of the label, so you can use many labels to register with the same email account, yet they will all direct to the same account. This is useful for filtering and many other purposes.
As far as I know Google play is blocking VPN ip and even if you try to bypass Google only accepts Credit/Debit card or UPI(one of the local payments) that is issued by indian banks.

Apple store in India removed card payments due to RBI policies only way to pay via apple store is buying wallet codes , UPI or Internet banking.

Have you tried logging out of app, enabling VPN to country of your choosing, then making new F1TV account ?

Hey there, tried it but it wont let me create an Indian apple id. On the last screen where it is creating it, it gives me the error to contact support for assistance. I used a hotels address, a different email but I had to put in my own phone number. Is that the issue? Or is there something else?

That doesn’t work, tried it recently. Came as far as having the gift card amount in the Indian Apple ID. You can’t pay with only the Indian Apple ID because you need local banking.
So changing account information might help? I see the price from India on the website but as soon as I go on the app I get the Dutch price but yearly as well
Currently they are messing around with it. You can not buy yearly anymore without VPN. With it, it would be €94.99. However monthly it would be €11.90. So lets say around €140 a year

I have NordVPN myself, works great. Going to make an indian apple account so i can try it. Ive seen a method which should work so going to give that a try tonight.
