How to find fastest server?

I want to find out which Germany or Swiss server is the fastest for me, but I don’t want to connect to them one by one to test the latency. Is there a way to do it more quicker and efficiently? My aim is to stick to one server so that my online game accounts won’t go crazy with the security notifications.

AFAIK, that’s what Quick Connect does by default. It connects you to the server with the lowest ping and load to get the fastest connection. Unfortunately, that’s a moving target.

Quick connect defaults to the Fastest Server.

I’m not sure, but I think it might choose the fastest one also if you just click the connect icon next to the country name (for example Germany) and don’t go into the country’s server list to choose a particular server yourself.

What I do is, I refresh the android app and connect to the fastest server, then also connect to that server on my Linux PC. It’s ridiculous that the Linux desktop app isn’t able to refresh servers manually.

Yeah, but I don’t want to switch servers constantly every day

That is what I am trying to out. I want to test all Germany and Swiss servers, find one or two with the lowest latency and then create a profile for it.

The load isn’t constant, so you will don’t have a constant speed. What you are trying to do is pointless.

It is not about the load but the distance and latency. Unless they are running servers with %100 capacity I should be able to measure latency correctly.

I was talking about the speed which is dependent on the load of the server. But the latency will not be constant either, since the load on the nodes of the network path you reach the servers also changes.
