Great idea. But do you have the VPN city list?
It can block known vpn IPs via exclusion lists.
There are lists and comparing time zones. Could use recapcha 3 as well to set the audience based on the score. If you’re being specifically targeted and not just normal spam then you might have to get them to fill out multiple forms to expose themselves as spammers.
Allegedly. I’ve never seen it make a difference about spam.
I’ve experienced it making a big difference.
All it does is block your ads delivering to certain IPs, based on your own settings.
So if you tell it to block an ip that clicks more than x times in x date range, then it will post that ip to Google to block. For FB it just creates an exclusion list.
But it’s not a magic bullet and takes time to build up an exclusion list so you still pay for fraud traffic until your list is built. Also, they claim you can get refunds from Google for fraud traffic but good effing luck with that.
Clickcease isn’t the end all be all but it does block IPs based on your settings/params. Also, we have a hard time using it with our tracker bc it occupies the tracking template spot in google ads.
I know exactly what it is and how it works.
It’s just an endless whack a mole game. You’ll never whack all the moles. You’re also guaranteed to whack moles that shouldn’t have been whacked.
I’ve seen it fail so many times I would need to see something like:
Pre click cease 80% invalid lead rate
Post click cease 40% invalid lead rate
No other changes
To be convinced it works.
