How to block Kaspersky VPN?

Hey guys. I have a Fortigate 100E. I know a bunch of users are using Kaspersky VPN to circmvent the content filtering I have put in place in the firewall. I have only allowed 443 and 80 and few other ports. Web filtering and Application filtering are in place. “Proxy” category has been blocked which contains all VPN software. But there is no application signature in the Fortigate Application Control for Kaspersky VPN.

I tried to find their VPN server IP list but couldn’t. How do I go about blocking this?

Either scour the logs for something that makese sense or you can write an application signature yourself for this.

What OS version are you running. Generally you can block this by restricting PROXY in security profile > application control

OS version is 6.4.1
I have already blocked PROXY category

Upgrade immediately - your version is subject to security issues.

Try placing a deny proxy policy at the top of the sequence.

Already done. It blocks all other VPNs
