How to be 100% sure my computer is clean from malware I just downloaded?

I just accidentally installed a bunch of adware and possibly malware after running a malicious setup.exe

Is doing a clean windows installation and wiping everything on the drive enough to be 100% sure my PC is not infected?

I don’t know the level of danger of the stuff I downloaded. It was probably from a fake JDownloader website that I got tricked into installing.

Some of the pop-ups, different apps on the control panel and MalwareBytes detections were the following:

  • WebCompanion
  • PremierOpinion
  • OneBrowser
  • RAV VPN or RAV Endpoint Protection
  • Walliant Launcher
  • CCleaner
  • PUP.Optional.CleverSort

Mostly looks like Adware, but MalwareBytes called a lot of them as Malware. Mostly Files, but a couple of Register Keys and Register Values.

What is the likelihood my accounts are compromised? I immediately stopped using the computer for anything after downloading these viruses, but I had accounts logged in on browsers and some windows apps.

I just did a clean windows install from a flash drive, but I saw some people commenting on how the windows installation doesn’t actually erase everything so how should I do that?

Sorry for the long question, I’m kinda paranoid about this stuff and want to be as sure as possible that my PC is completely clean.

The clean install should be enough. Remediate with malwarebytes if it’s still showing stiff but a clean install should be fine for a standard user.

Been trying to do the disk wipe using the command prompt that I found on this subreddit’s megathread but for some reason the “clean” command always gets stuck. I’m hoping even without a completed message it still wiped everything.

Anyways, your answer helped calm me down a bit, so thanks!
