If I remember correctly, once you work a year you get a week vacation right? Well it’s been a year starting today so how do I check that? I remember filling in a sheet about it awhile back but I don’t remember hearing anything about it since then

You start accruing vacation after your first year. You can check your union handbook to see how many hours you will receive. It is under vacation. Each contract is different. Most full timers get about 2-4 weeks depending upon hours. You can go to Kroger’s paycheck site. Click about me and scroll down to vacation hours. If you don’t have any there won’t be a slot. Once you begin accruing hrs you can cash them out by going to esced. Select day off reason as vacation. Holidays are generally the only blackout period for vacation days.
Just ask the person who does payroll or in my case at the store it is posted in our break room everyone’s vacation weeks, also the manger should be able to tell you by looking at something. I wasn’t able to find the date part on my time of when it is only how many how’s were available for the paid vacation.

what if I am only part time, and also how long after?
In Local 75, we get a week for each milestone reached:
One year = one week
Three years = two weeks
Seven years = three weeks
14 years = four weeks
18 years = five weeks
25 years = six weeks
This goes for both full-time and part-time.

There should be a master vacation schedule posted in the break room hallway. Confirm the week and then request the same week off in the UKG Dimensions app.

I haven’t seen the accurrals on my phone they don’t let you see much on the phone
After logging in, go to My Calendar. From there, there is a link at the top that says New Request. Click that, choose time off using vacation as your reason, and pick the exact same week as the one on the master vacation schedule. The work week at Kroger is Sunday to Saturday.
