Hey RAV fam - I’ve been trying to activate my remote services, but the vehicle never receives a code from the app. Is there an easy solution?

Like the title says … I’ve tried restarting the app, reinstalling it, making sure my profile is loaded, Bluetooth is enabled. It just never receives the code.

Just went through this. Call customer service they will get you up and running in a couple of minutes

Just did this the other day. You hold down the sos button until it starts calling. Once it asks do you want emergency services you say no. It will then tell you to say one of two options with one being remote activision (or something similar). Say the remote activision option and it will tell you it is now activated and then hang up. Give the app like 10-30 mins to register the change.

Support will walk you through and will require you use the SOS button.

Call customer service, I tried all the tricks and it deleted my remote start connection, customer service for everything squared away and a free month in no time.

I had this problem when I first got my Rav. Try switching profiles in the settings.

I just had this happen after renewing remote connect. To fix it, I had to clear the settings for my profile as explained in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w8Im5P87oOY

Do you have a vpn on your phone?

Just went through this last week, I got it work after days by hitting the option to reset or redownload apps on the settings>apps screen. It worked immediately.

I had the same problem just factory reset the screen

Dope. I’ll give that a try. Did you switch from your main profile then switch back? Or did you just use a whole new profile?

I called support and it took forever. The guy told me to do some wacky car reset thing, that required turning the car on and off like 10 times. It was ridiculous.

I gave up with him and just reset my car’s settings under “info and security” and that worked. The app is kind of a piece of junk and I won’t be renewing it.

Eh, i had a similar issue too… you wont have a choice to go see the guys at the toyota dealer if its not fixed already unfortunately.
