Hey Mods! Can you tell us when is Moonton gonna punish VPN users?

I lost 3 of my last 4 matches because of these Myanmar VPN users that connect to NA and will complain that they lag. I should’ve been Glory now.

First was a trio all from Myanmar, then 2 duos both from Myanmar then the last one was our jungler Alucard also from Myanmar.

Can you do something with these Myanmar VPN users who keep connecting to US server?

You think this is fair for us players in the USA? I don’t mind losing if the enemies are good. But losing because these Myanmar players have high ping and connected to a different continent? That’s unacceptable.

The simple answer is, in Myanmar you need a VPN for pretty much everything because the military blocked almost all apps and websites. And sice most people can’t afford regular VPN they use free VPNs which only has 3-4 countries available one of which being the US.

because as far as im concerned, as a southeast asian player, myanmar players are generally shit. like if i see a myanmar player in my own team i just expect them to do badly, and 99 out of 100 times, they do, feeding FB and more. since ML is a much bigger game generally in SEA compared to the west, i think they might have the mindset that west could be easier to score in, but ping ends up being shit, ig

i’ve been watching Hoon’s streams a lot and he also gets these vpn Myanmar players with 200 ms and they play horribly as expected

i can’t fathom the reason why playing with terrible ping would be any enjoyable for these people. I’m sure there are other countries closer to Myanmar where they can play with green ping

Update: After I got 49 stars another Myanmar game again. Guess what? Of course, they’re lagging again.

I am from SEA server and the other day also i met two myanmar vpn users on enemy team. They caused ALL of us except themselves immense lag and we were unable to play at all. legitemately their own teammates are also lagging hard

we end up losing cuz those two losers pick sun and moskov to just split push like crazy while we couldn’t do anything because of lag

  1. They were too clueless to understand how the servers work in ML and forgot to turn off their VPN.

  2. They accidentally connected to the NA server. (I’ve connected to the Indo server without using a VPN, but I don’t think it’s possible to connect to NA.)

  3. The algorithm couldn’t find anyone to troll your games, so it dragged in players from Myanmar. :3

Any idea on why do they even do it? I can undertand one or two “forget” to turn off the VPN, but… if it’s the majority of them, then something’s going on.

Besides, Indian, Myanmar, etc. Countries are known for exploiting in-game bugs. So they’re probably doing something like that to farm stars if it’s ranked or to farm winrate, either way. It should be punished as it only ruins the matches for their teammates.

Meanwhile, I’m a Myanmar player who keeps ending up on other servers without any VPN.
(Sometimes, I play with my friends who went overseas and the game always puts me on their server and keeps me there for days even if I play alone)

Moonton better take actions before we migrate to hok. Giving us skin doesn’t work anymore

it’s not all players, i don’t use vpn and usually, I just heavily rely on my pure skills and instinct/reflexes(yes, I am from myanmar)
