Mudfish works, you just need choose the correct server for it to work through trial and error. So many of them must be blacklisted and won’t let you connect and you don’t know until you try.
I’m not sure if Mudfish actually works for LA anymore. The people who used to use it were already few and far between. Back when the two main VPN’s for KR were Exit lag and Mudfish, getting Mud working was apparently a very involved process.
From what I understand now, Mud is no longer usable for KR and I’d assume the same holds true for connecting to Global servers. I wish you luck though, perhaps you may figure it out. Getting it to work is apparently a lost art.
I used mudfish for BDO and it was very cheap but eventually it just kinda stopped working. The customer support was very chill though. They refunded me, and also when I wanted to try the service out they gave me some free credit to trial the service.
I don’t think mudfish would reduce your ping, you would still have ~250 MS of that’s what you had before. I have 220ms to EU from Asia and 147ms with Exitlag. I used to use mudfish back in the day when I thought I needed a vpn to play. Now I just Exitlag to lower my ping slightly and improve response times.
What problem are you having with setting it up?
- Install it
- Run it
- Go to the webui address (type 127.0.0.1:8282 into your browser’s URL bar if it didn’t pop up itself)
- Select Item → Equip Items → Lost Ark
Make sure the Server Location is Europe (Germany). Try out different Mudfish nodes until you find one that works.
Try it first with WFP Item Mode as Off. You can try that filtering later (Remember that if it’s turned “Off” then using Amazon services will consume your VPN bandwidth, including watching Twitch).

Stick with ExitLag, works fine with this game.
Exitlag is the better one, used both before for few months but now won’t bother with mudfish anymore, its more annoying to setup and sometimes on/off and if i remember correctly mudfish didnt really reduce ping, its only help to stabilize whatever ping u have rn.
Mudfish works fine. It’s the only way I can play since Amazon refuses to fix their EAC issues.
I’m not sure how to set it up, because it’s not reducing ping as much as it should be right now, and old videos don’t work with me.
I also use ExitLag, and it’s the best option because it’s not a VPN, so there are no ban issues
