For me its started 10 days ago when chrome updated, pages are not loading, everything is slow and unusable. Same thing with Brave, and only recently DuckDuckGo started to get the same symptoms. Firefox is still normal.
I tried even uninstalling and reinstalling with no extensions or anything, clean install, not working.
How can this be that no one has any info about what is causing this, there are alot of people with the same issue.
So if anyone has any solution or other info, share it here please.

You might want to check if you were hit with the recent wave of Chromstera / Universal browser malware
I found solution for me, disabling VPN connection. I have F-secure total security software, that has built in VPN, and disabling that, everything works again. Weird that it does not affect Firefox but all of my other browsers it does. I also tried to connect to different VPN server, but that did not help, i had to disable VPN completely.
“why after turning on vpn writing in chrome is delayed” ( Reason seems to be VPN ) and yes this is ridiculously slow. not like fraction seconds but like actual seconds like i did write this in 2 minutes ago and the texty is still appearing as i wait. is it just mine VPN provider or like all? pages loads just fine but but all buttons lag behind and pressing control and scrolling it changes size for while.
No, i have checked for viruses and malwares. I have f-secure total security software.
People, who previously got this thing, sometimes also reported that their antivirus scans showed up clean. You may need more specialized software for that like Malwarebytes.
Yes, but chromstera also installs extensions and its own browsers and i have none of that, just browsers not working.
I found what was causing this, it was VPN connection. Disabling vpn, and everything works again.
