Personally, on my work PC I can’t download any apps. Need admin rights and so on. So I needed a free VPN for Chrome and not link it to any of my personal accounts.
Had some time, tried a few free VPNs. I mean they all do the job alright, so you can just choose any of them. Although, I would not suggest picking a random VPN on Chrome extension store that isn’t known at all as they might be stealing and selling your data.
Why use a VPN for Chrome?
- Privacy: encrypts your web traffic.
- Restricted content: bypass location-based restrictions.
- Safe browsing: sometimes helps guard against malware, trackers, and phishing sites.
