I play paladins on both the PS4 and PS5 and have had game freezes almost every third match I play in. I know this is a common issue across all platforms, however I feel like my consoles are plagued by them more than pcs and Xbox’s. Does anyone have any tips or tricks to reduce the cpu usage during the game? I have heard turning off the voice chat helps, but that’s not the best solution since I play with people I want to communicate with. Thanks for any helpful hints you may have, I love the game and just want to avoid deserter penalties….
Freezing in the middle of the game or in loading screen?
Cross-progression is not currently available between PS4/PS5 and any other platform (and vice-versa). This decision is being held back solely by Sony - Hi-Rez has stated that they’re ready for cross-progression as soon as Sony would agree to it, but they’re currently not doing so. I’ve been having a lot less issues by turning off the game chat.

Am on ps4 I rarely freeze on loading screen but I noticed that if there device connected to vpn on the same Internet my ps4 connected to I get loading screen that I need to restart the game like 3 times to let me in and about the freeze middle the game it happens if someone turned they mics on in the middle of the match or there maybe character make your game freeze I freeze 2 times in this season but both was in shattered desert and the enemy has grover
