Hello! I am from India and I am currently subscribed to xBox Game Pass for PC. However, I noticed that I can change the country location in the App which gave me access to the Cloud Gaming tab. I want to know that will the cloud gaming work if i upgrade to Game Pass Ultimate? I know the lag won’t be ideal but I am just curious.
Works PROPERLY when launching the app with a VPN enabled, after that, you can disable it to enable proper internet speeds (i.e: since VPN speeds are usually very slow).
Basically : turn on VPN on your phone, select a country that’s close to you and officially supports Xcloud → open Gamepass app → wait until the app refreshes and the “Play” option on a game becomes selectable → open notification bar and close VPN → Press “Play” and enjoy.
Important : You HAVE to be on a 5GHz network, on 2.4GHz the connection quality is…no bueno (at all).

launching with vpn enables you to play but its not ideal. Looks like India is one of countries xbox supports in general, so xcloud should support it in the future

They did reveal it’s expanding to India and Japan this year at london event… But i guess pandemic blew that chances.
