Does the latest Android PIA download still have MACE as an option?

I’m talking about the one you download from the PIA website and not the Playstore.
I head someone on the threads recently saying that MACE was missing in the latest download?
Want to check before I update it.

I can’t see it, but that might be because I don’t use PIA’s DNS servers. MACE is/was only an option if you used PIA’s DNS own DNS servers IIRC?

I wonder if they’ve dropped MACE because of all the DNS problems users have been having? (search this subreddit to see).

MACE is a bit redundant (?) as you can use quad9, adguard etc etc

Thanks for the reply. Yes to the PIA DNS, MACE works only with them enabled and it’s quite effective for my use case, which is free US based streaming music without ads.
So since i dont have the older apk on hand, I couldn’t roll back the new update IF it doesn’t have Mace. So if you have the PIA MACE button in the options for the new version, that will be confirmation enough, no need to turn it on.
You can see if it’s there in the Settings/Privacy tab.
