Hi! I’m currently not in the U.S and was using a dns as a vpn for my xbox in order to spoof my location and use streaming services not available here. It was working perfectly fine for about two weeks until last night, where it randomly would not allow me to use any streaming services.
The wifi and connection is perfectly fine, and I have tried: restarting router and modem, restarting xbox + hard restarting xbox, taking off dns and putting it on again. However, even though my wifi is perfectly fine, when manual dns is on then my streaming services will say they have no connection.
Do I need to make a new dns number, or is there something else I should try?

You are using Domain Name Service as a Virtual Private Network? First question, how are you doing that, and second what do you mean by a “new DNS number”?
I mean, it worked for me for a couple weeks. I managed to receive all of the U.S services that I had before I left.

I just searched up how to put VPN on xbox, and I read that it’s not possible unless it’s inputed as a DNS. My brother did the actual number making process for me, so i’m not entirely sure of all the steps, but it worked for a while. Basically used ExpressVPN through an alternate site in order to make the number and typed it manually in the advanced settings section.
