Hey, has any of you got cyberghost running on Arch Linux? I’ve been trying different options but it didn’t work, may be it was beacuse I missconfigured somthing. I tried downloading the Ubuntu version, installing the apt manager on arch and intelling the package, but I didn’t do it right.
So if any of you have any clue on how to get it running please let me know how you did it.
Kape Technologie operates two competing VPN services, Cyberghost and Zenmate. Kape under its former name, Crossrider previously developed browser toolbars bundled with potentially unwanted programs.
If Cyberghost becomes unacceptable, I would look at the Privacy Tools.io vetted VPN’s, like Mullvad. See r/privacytoolsio and r/vpn, and most importantly, Wireguard. Wireguard has been pretty effortless for me.

yea, never do that
that certainly will fuck up something
as pointed out in the other comment the most foolproof way is to use OpenVPN instead
I saw their app also supporting Wireguard but can’t find any information if they share the wireguard private key outside of the app too
