I wanted to try Mullvad VPN and I have to say I am really happy with the service, in particular pricing since I hate the binding of other famous vpns out there.

The only problem is that I used VPN on my browser pc at work to bypass controls (I cannot install anything as software or change adapter config).

But apparently there is no Chromium extension, Firefox one is only a proxy and Mullvad Browser not requiring an installation is on the same boat as Firefox.

Is there any way to use Mullvad VPN by Extension?

So called “VPN extensions” use the browser socks5 proxy configuration found in browsers.

This is not possible with Mullvad VPN, because socks5 proxy only works inside of the VPN tunnel.
