Has anyone else had this problem? Is Express VPN looking at an update to fix the issue? IOS 18 IPhone 15.
I had this same problem in my Kia. If you go to Options and Network Protection, I turned off “Block Internet Connection” and “Allow Devices” options. Allows me to use CarPlay and Express at the same time. Hope that helps for you .
Yep, iphone14 Pro with iOS 17 and won’t work with express vpn, turn it off, hey presto. Same if I turn Siri off too.

I updated both and so far no issues
Just updated the phone… note it literally cuts out every two minutes or so, where VPN is active or not 
Solution (for me) was to erase the network songs on my phone. CarPlay is working fine now
