I’ve used NordVPN for years to watch King of the Hill and other shows on Hulu. However, for the past two weeks I keep getting a screen saying that I’m using a VPN. Has anyone found a way to watch US shows? I use NordVPN if that helps
I use Express VPN and it happens to me occasionally. As others have mentioned, I change the geolocation and that usually works. I’m currently watching Hulu.
I have the same issue with Surf Shark, but usually just have to chance the city from Vegas to Chicago. If it’s on a pc. Usually just have to close the app or browser then Disconnect. Reconnect first then open the app or browser. Usually fixes the issue.
Keep in mind that services are often configured to block when impossible travel is detected. E.G. you are detected using a VPN in LA, you switch to Seattle. The computer knows you cannot go from LA to Seattle in 30 seconds so it flags you as a possible VPN user.
Private Internet Access supports a dedicated IP address service. As this address is not shared, it is less likely to be detected. (They can always use latency detection, or the Hulu app may do geolocation)
It’s because they know the ip addresses because they use block systems. If you have a property in the US you can remote access your network there with say the likes of Unifi and their basic teleport system.
A lot of the VPNs now have separate vpns for each streaming site. I use Cyberghost when I’m out of the US and it works great
Contact Nord VPN and ask them what frequency to change to. I use Albequerque mostly. And LA 2. But if you text them, they will tell you what frequency to use. If you’re on a computer or iPad, try turning it off (and Nord VPN) and restarting. Sometimes it comes back on.
I feel your pain. But I’ve never allowed mine to last two weeks! You can beat the system with a little effort. This doesn’t happen to me frequently, but I’ve been in the US for a few months so don’t know what NordVPN is doing in the PH now.
I just used the salt lake city one to watch solar opposites last night on nord vpn. Try that. Hope it works for you
I use nord and never had that issue but one time. On my fire stick i got to settings clear the apps cache and force exit the app and i make sure the nords auto setting is set to us
Do you all have American credit cards? I couldn’t make it work since Hulu wouldn’t accept any of my credit cards or Apple Pay.

Hahaha same. Tho Im not an expat and I run to kisscartoon just to watch Daria and King of the Hilll. I am so willing to pay for Hulu but just the additional fees for VPN is was makes it painful for me.
I’m a Dave Ramsey man so I have no credit card at all. I used my Charles Schwab debit card.
