As long as youre just streaning content on such sites youre mostly safe even without Tor or VPN or whatever, atleast here in germany. Using a cheap free vpn will lower the risks even more.
As long as you are not the one providing the content to others no one in germany will care

I know some people who got fined but not because they stream it but download it. Avoid torrent at all cost because you will definitely get fined.
I donāt know anyone who got fined streaming, i did in the past not anymore so donāt really take my word for it. Streaming is a bit more invisible than downloading it.

Before downloading something from torrent (NOT PUBLIC TORRENTS ). I always do a dns leak test in browser and qbittorrent . Iāve changed settings in qbittorrent to download always when vpn is active . If the vpn connection drops it will stop . I use ExpressVPN , Proton is also good but i wanted something out from EU

i mean the laws in Germany for data protection are some of the strictest stii i think they sell all my data and they snoop all traffic because,why not . Thatās why i use a VPN for all my traffic.
