Can I run multiple VPN servers on one compute instance?

So, my school turns on a very strong firewall that blocks every VPN protocol, which makes me use strong but slow VPNs such as Outline with Cloak installed.

Once I go back home, I don’t have to use that because there is no firewall in my house network. However, since my country’s government blocks certain websites that they believe to be ‘inappropriate,’ I still have to use a VPN. In this case, I would use a normal Outline VPN without Cloak installed on the server, as it slows down the internet speed.

So, is it possible to run multiple VPN servers on one compute instance? If having two Outline servers on one instance causes the problem, I can use other VPN servers like Amenzia or OpenVPN, but I’m wondering, ‘Is this possible?’

I dunno about on the same compute instance, but if you let the manager take care of it you can absolutely spin up another server with the same cloud provider.

Theoretically, you can do it without problems. I’ve set up an Outline server and ikev2 VPN on the same virtual server and both are working fine, as example. Many hosting providers give such options like backup current configuration. You surely can backup your current server before installing any other VPN servers like Amnezia. Even if something goes wrong you’ll be able to restore your origin configuration.

Your from Iran I guess?

Late response but no, I’m from Korea. Korea is infamous for its strict censorship even though it’s one of the ‘advanced’ countries

No way? Wasn’t aware
