Best VPN (and other tools) to avoid getting doxed

or just get someone in another country to pay for the domain? for example an lgbt rights organization?

Omg, it’s so damn long and precise. Do you have a template?

My God dude, are you Edward Snowden?

Actually that’s false. Last I checked you have to be vendor neutral there.

Regarding the restoreprivacy website, from their page https://restoreprivacy.com/terms-of-use/:

I find it hard to trust reviews by VPN sites when they get paid by the VPNs that they recommend.

Tails isn’t persistent. You can try whonix

The only issue is that may be hard for their target audience to find.

Whats the difference

Install VirtualBox - Get [Whonix + Ubuntu/Debian] combo to run as vm

Ye HTTPs removes so much data from third party view i think all sites should have it on for everything.

It’s more public than a credit card you can see every transaction ever made.

Oh yes, forgot those!

For pure security I’d say sure.
But from my understanding, he is not doing something highly illegal and therefor the inconvenience you described would definitely be a deal breaker for my personal life.

But sure, TAILS is pretty easy to use and can recommend it for travelling in foreign countries. But for everyday use, the hassle is a pretty big one I think

Just checked. That’s their rule 5. Their rule 10 specifically forbids asking for or providing recommendations.

If you read the reviews they are extremely comprehensive. I have been following the site since not long after inception and I have never found the reviews to be influenced by this. And the comments on reviews are equally informative. Open discussion and counterpoint is allowed and encouraged.

Why do you think Tails isn’t persistent? You had a bad experience or did you hear it from someone?

Well then let them know that such a thing as the darknet exists. It’s a great opportunity to teach people about privacy preserving tech

Privacy is knowing Bob is messaging Jane but not knowing what is being said

Anonymity is not knowing it’s Bob and what is being said

Tor can make you stand out and people can snoop on what is sent over tor (governments run most of it) but it makes your browsing more anonymous and hard to correlate. VPN can stop your ISP from accessing your traffic but just makes another address that can be tied back to you. If you are on a VPN and you always check what the weather is by your home, you are suddenly less anonymous since that traffic can be tied to your other traffic even though your VPN provider is probably more trustworthy than Tor exit nodes.

That’s my understanding at least, still learning this myself so OP shouldn’t take this comment as gospel.

Tails OS is good too .
