I’ve recently purchased the Avast Premium Security. As a free anti-virus, it was already doing scans for free but I wanted better protection and bought the premium version. Now, every little action it takes, even tho I have the premium version, still cost money. The only thing it does is scanning BUT IT WAS ALREADY FREE ANYWAY. Premium version is a scam, Avast is a scam and I tried to contact their support but they have been ignoring me. Never recommend.
Ah, the premium experience! So you went from ‘free scans’ to ‘premium scans that still cost extra.’ Avast must have invented a whole new level of paid free service
I mean everybody kinda already knew that… Its not any new info. Avast is TRASH and everybody knows it.
I mostly paid to stop getting popups telling me to get premium and got more ads promoting there other paid services.
That’s frustrating! It’s disappointing when the premium version doesn’t add any real value.

Avast is not trash. They got in trouble for tracking info from their browser. That no one uses That’s the only reason people think it is bad. Their av still has decent definitions and shields Now with that said premium is a waste of money the only thing avast has that’s worth a shit is their antivirus Everything else they provide is crap
Well, I thought premium meant premium and it would be better but no, all the services still requires money, like what does the premium even do? Worst purchase of my life

It’s because it’s not bad. Their premium is worthless though. Stick to free and don’t make a login
Their phone cleaner and VPN are pretty good tho
I been using avast antivirus free for quite a long time.
I remember one time where I feel like my pc is acting weird, so I suspect it has been infected by virus.
Naturally I use avast to scan for virus, and got nothing. After that I use malwarebyte to scan my pc, it found like 10 virus on my pc 
well, the said premium is the problem. it’s got literally nothing and I am really upset about it. they probably wont cancel sad
It is bad compared to other AVs (Kaspersky, Bitdefender) that are just better, whether its antivirus or anything else and don’t have a terrible marketing strategy
well u could let other members of your family use it too
Yea so you have to go in and adjust the sensitivity of the scans also the definitions update frequently so it’s good to push for a manual update whenever you are going to run a scan in case it didn’t update automatically
Just use it for the year and then cancel before it renews . Sadly their premium has kinda been lame. I used it for a bit because I was an original tester when it came out At that time windows def and the windows firewall were ass so the premium stuff was ok now it’s pointless due to better (not great but better ) win security
I mean. Kaspersky just got in trouble for a much worse data selling issue. And are banned in the us. Bitdefender is ok but you need an account and i don’t think it’s free. The only comparison is malwarebytes I’ve used avast for 12 years. And never had an issue and I go to some sketchy shit I sell bitdefender and would still pick avast instead of paying money And as Of recently avast uses less resources then most Avs I’ve used including bd and kaspersky
