Anybody know a Spectrum -compatible combo modem/router that supports a VPN?
Why a combo unit?
I’ve owned multiple ASUS routers that have support to be both a VPN server and client. I use one of their mesh systems with a spectrum-provided modem.
Why do you want a combo?
You do not want to combo unit under any circumstance.
The modem I have is fine. A place where I start looking for a router
No combo unit supports that. Get a modem and a router. Simple.
This is the way to go. I have my own modem but Spectrum’s units are good from what I’ve heard and no longer have a monthly fee. I also have 2 Asus routers configured in a mesh network. They have support for a vpn, dns and lots of other customization.
