Lately i 'have been looking for a free vpn app for linux searched on google a lot, but couldn’t find a convincing solution.
If anyone know any free vpn tool which is secure do let me know.

There are many free vpn tools for Linux, eg OpenVPN. You are probably looking for a free vpn service, however. You should reconsider this.
A vpn shuttles all your traffic to their servers before releasing it to the internet. The primary purpose of this in a non-corporate usage is to provide privacy. The service you are using needs to pay for their bills somehow, and if you aren’t paying them any money, there’s a good chance they’re selling your data - this makes your privacy worse.
Or it can be even worse. Hola, for instance, was a very popular free vpn service a few years ago. It turned out that not only did they sell your traffic data, but they reduced costs by shuttling users’ traffic through other users’ computers (without telling anyone they were doing this, of course). So tons of people were getting their bandwidth consumed unknowingly by strangers, plus their ISPs and the government believed that they were the ones making all these requests. Sounds great, no? If you want a vpn, you want a service that you can trust, and that in turn means you want to pay them. A paid vpn can still sell your data, and many do, but it’s the first bar a vpn has to meet.
Alternatively, you may want to use Tor. When used with https, tor protects your data very well. Although the bandwidth is provided by volunteers, you don’t actually need to trust them because the tor protocol is designed to not need to. Most people who think they want a vpn would be better served by tor. The main downside is that it is a bit slower, but patience is how you pay for your privacy.

And there in lies the rub. I honestly would learn how to implement ipsec, OpenVPN, or WireGruard before I used a free VPN.
ProtonVPN and TunnelBear have free offers and work on Linux
ProtonVPN is the easiest to use if you don’t want to use the openvpn files with network manager.
Windscribe and tunnelbear are cool but have data limits on their free plans.
Opera has a built in VPN but I don’t know if it is secure.
ProtonVPN is good. Used it for a while. The free option gives you upto 3 connections.
I do recommend you using tor, but if you really need an vpn windscribe with 10 gigs free per month is a good option. However, you can never be sure about any vpn storing logs.
You need to learn the appropriate terminology.
You aren’t looking for a “Free VPN app” for linux. You’re looking for a free VPN PROVIDER, which is a terrible idea.
And really, let’s state exactly what these stupid VPN providers really are: A WEB PROXY.
They just happen to use a VPN technology to connect to the proxy.
I’m tired of them calling them VPNs, because it muddies the waters when people are looking for a REAL VPN or are told to use VPN.
proton vpn has a free plan for all type of system including linux.
I really like windscribe. There is a 2gb limit on a free account, but you can make as many of these as you like (doesn’t require an email to sign up - just username and password).
Using tailscale, free for 100 clients, not sure if you just want to connect systems together

Imo, this is the most detailed answer i got and i also checked the link to hola you added in comment and that was honestly crazy wasn’t aware of this a slight bit.
Finally, I think there is nothing that is actually FREE!

I have read some negative reviews about proton VPN on the internet, thats why i didn’t used it. Are you using proton VPN?

I have tried windscribe free service in past and the network speed it provided was pathetic. But i completely forgot about the tor, looks like it is the only option left now.

Pardon me for using any incorrect terminologies as i am pretty new to them.
But, i think it is much better than not using anything at all.
However, the info you shared is pretty insightful and i’ll try to get a grasp of these terminologies but doesn’t look like a solution for me right now.
