No app is able to search for other devices on LAN even though my android devices are connected to the VPN. This is making me think that the traffic is not actually being tunneled though the VPN. How do I fix this?

Lots of devices treat the ZT interface as public even though the IP address range used is private. Like in windows the firewall blocks every incoming request from other devices until you make the ZT interface private. Also the ZT network is more like a switch to talk to another devise one device needs to know the ip address from the target to start a session. Try if you can ping any of the other devices connected to the ZT switch.
